EMTA Shuttle

Mercyhurst College, Mercyhurst Student Government and the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) combined forces in 2008 to provide students with quality transportation in Erie. The existing MSG shuttle was replaced with an EMTA bus with double the capacity and many more destinations for Mercyhurst students who are able to ride for free simply by showing their OneCard.

The shuttle cannot hold more that 48 passengers at any one point (32 seating and 16 standing). Also, if you have a guest who is not part of MErcyhurst Community (does not have Mercyhurst ID) he/she will have to purchase ticket. Please keep these in mind when planning your trips.

The shuttle is a privilege for the students, and should be used with proper respect and care. Any student who is found violating shuttle rules, damaging the shuttle, or causing harm to any passenger and/or driver will be punished accordingly by the Office of Residence Life.

Feedback on the shuttle service is always encouraged, please email MSG Secretary at msgshuttle@mercyhurst.edu or send an IM to MSGShuttle. That screen name is also the place to check for any updates on cancellations or delays in regards to the shuttle.
